A little about them
Halo is a smart, affectionate, high-energy American Pit Bull Terrier who loves walks, playtime, snacks, belly rubs, and learning new things. She is food motivated, enjoys spending time with her people, and is ready for an adopter who will continue helping her shine.
Ideal Home
Halo is looking for a patient adopter who can provide daily physical exercise, mental enrichment, structure, and routine. She does best with confident adult dogs who set clear boundaries. She is selective with cats and is suitable for children ages 8 and up. A physical fence 5–6 feet tall is required. She is apartment friendly.
Ongoing Health
Halo is currently taking daily anxiety medication, which she accepts easily with a spoonful of peanut butter. She has mild separation anxiety but settles within a few minutes. Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccinations, worming, and current flea and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 6 months are tested for heartworm and Halo's test was negative.
Training & Support
Halo is crate trained and potty trained. She knows sit, down, roll over, spin, and shake, and is making great progress with recall. She may be vocal in her crate when she thinks she is missing out, but this has improved significantly with training.
