About Odin

Meet Odin, a very, very good boy with brains and beauty! Odin is a handsome 1-year-old German Shepherd, weighing about 70lbs, and we don't expect him to get much bigger. He's eagerly awaiting his chance to join a loving family and make a new house his home. Odin is sweet, curious, and playful, and he absolutely loves people and other dogs. He also enjoys splashing in the water and playing fetch! A fun fact about Odin is that he was evaluated by a Police K9 trainer, who determined he's a "pet line" shepherd, showing no "working shepherd" tendencies. He was very social, displayed zero aggression, and attached himself to his foster mom, proving he'll be an awesome companion dog.

Ideal Home

Odin would thrive in a home with an active family who will provide him with plenty of playtime, exercise, and mental stimulation. He'd love a fenced-in yard for zoomies and adventures. While he gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would enjoy a similarly sized and energetic canine playmate, Odin would do best in a home without feline friends, as he tends to chase them. He would also be a great fit for a family with children aged 7 and up who understand how to respect a dog's boundaries. A breed-experienced home is preferred.

Ongoing Health

Odin is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and has received a clean bill of health from our vet.

Training & Support

Odin has a great foundation and is already crate trained, housebroken, and walks well on a leash. He needs a firm and consistent owner who will continue his training and reinforce good behavior, establishing his place in the pack. This will help ensure Odin is the absolute best boy he can be!
