Gigi is 58 pounds of pure happiness wrapped in a gorgeous Retriever mix coat. At just 1.5 years old, she’s in that perfect sweet spot of young and playful, but already easygoing and settled. She’s an all-around happy girl whose whole body wiggles when she wags her tail — which is often. While she can be a little shy at first, it only takes a moment for her gentle licks and joyful tail wags to come out. Gigi walks beautifully on a leash and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She’s just as happy romping in the yard as she is curling up nearby while you relax. Her bright, sunny spirit is even more meaningful when you know her story — Gigi was rescued from the euthanasia list at a high-kill Texas shelter for no reason other than pet overpopulation. Now, she’s ready to leave those days behind and bring her endless joy, loyalty, and wiggles to the forever family lucky enough to call her their own.
Ideal Home
Gigi would love a pup sibling to run, wrestle, and share her adventures with. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.

Transporation
Gigi is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to her forever home by our rescue. Transports depart each week.
