Baylee

Baylee is a 7-year-old Basset Hound and Vizsla mix who weighs around 60 pounds. She's a sweet, snuggly velcro dog who loves to be with her people and has a friendly personality once she gets to know you. Baylee was originally from Texas and has been with her current owners since she was a puppy.

Ideal Home

Baylee would do best in a home without infants or very young children, as she is not a fan of them. She would likely thrive in a home with children over 10 years old. Baylee would also prefer to be the only dog in the household, as she has shown resource guarding behaviors in the past. She has lived with a cat without issue.

Ongoing Health

Baylee is currently on a low-dose anxiety medication (Sertraline) which has been helpful during her transition. She is spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Baylee is house-trained and was previously crated. She is trustworthy when left alone, though she may counter-surf if given the opportunity. She knows many commands and is generally well-behaved. Baylee can be vocal on walks when she sees other dogs but can be redirected. Regular exercise is important for her, and she loves walks!
