Velvet

Velvet is a super easy and extremely sweet, low-energy female Cane Corso who is absolutely beautiful. She is approximately 2 years old and was found as a suspected dumped dog at a large regional park. We have no idea why! Velvet is awesome, very low-key, and so gentle! She is quietly curious and incredibly funny. Velvet is a velcro dog – she wants to be right with you and observe what you are doing. She is good with dogs and children. While she has barked at cats from afar on occasion, she walked right up to a cat kennel with a hissing cat and had no reaction whatsoever, so she may be okay with cats with proper integration. She has no separation anxiety and is potty pad trained.

Ideal Home

Velvet needs a confident leader who will continue to expose her to the outside world, new people, and other pups to help her grow. If bored, she may chew shoes, so basic household rules and proper training regarding toys and what's off-limits when she's alone will need to be established.

Training & Support

Velvet is smart and wants to please, so training will be easy with consistency. She is good on a leash but can be a bit hesitant with new things due to being underexposed. She has improved quickly as she gains confidence and trusts you to lead her. She is also good in a car and is improving on entering upon command.
