Grace Hargraves

Grace is a beautiful, sturdy, and incredibly smart 3-year-old girl! Her perky ears are like little bat wings and she loves a good scratch! Grace has a lot of energy but naps most of the day during work hours. She was an excellent mom to 10 puppies when she first arrived in rescue, and now it's her turn to find her forever home! She can sit, lie down, and is completely potty and crate trained. Grace loves her kennel and will often take naps in it voluntarily; it makes her feel safe, and she happily sleeps there every night.

Ideal Home

Grace is very strong and will require your full attention on walks, so no earbuds for the first few walks. She lives with her foster parents and no other children, adults, or pets. Grace definitely notices changes in her environment and when her favorite people are gone. She can have a difficult time when initially meeting men, but has proven that she can get past this after an initial introduction. The perfect family for Grace is one that can see her for her worth and will dedicate time to building trust and bonding with her.

Training & Support

Grace is working on rolling over, shaking hands, "down," and becoming more zen about seeing squirrels on walks. She was raised by an unsheltered person and does show some signs of trauma, which she is working on with the help of her fosters and Save-A-Bull.
