Chip is a 2-year-old, neutered male Pit bull mix weighing 60 lbs. He's a sweet, playful, and curious boy looking for his forever home! Chip is a true "velcro dog" who loves to be by his people's side and cuddle. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he trusts you, he'll be your best friend. Chip enjoys sniffing walks, is crate-trained and potty-trained, and loves being outdoors. He's also a fan of costumes!
Ideal Home
Chip would do best with an experienced adopter who can provide patience and love. He has done well with calm, dog-friendly siblings and would appreciate a similarly-minded canine companion. He should not live in a home with cats. Chip can experience anxiety when left alone but is working on it and can be crated. He would thrive in a home where he can be included in family activities and outings, as he loves car rides and exploring. He has also done well with older children.
Ongoing Health
Chip is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Chip is crate-trained and potty-trained. He has been working on separation anxiety and can be crated when left alone. He would benefit from continued training and would love to work with his new family.
