A little about them

Bird is a smart, affectionate Lab/Collie mix who loves fetch, hiking, outdoor time, and canine companionship. After morning exercise, she settles beautifully into a calm day and restful night—and may even greet her favorite people with one of her signature hugs.

Ideal Home

Bird is looking for an experienced, patient adopter in a quiet, spacious home rather than a city apartment. She would thrive with a friendly, active resident dog and is tolerant of cats. Her home should offer room for exercise, predictable routines, and thoughtful introductions to visitors. Confinement and unfamiliar people entering the home can trigger defensive behavior, including aggression.

Ongoing Health

Bird is about 50 pounds, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Bird is very well house trained and can currently stay home comfortably for about three to four hours, especially after morning exercise. Another dog may help her gradually extend that time.
