Hi there, I'm Millie! I'm a sweet, smart, and food-motivated 12-year-old, 50-pound pit bull mix with beautiful brown and white markings, looking for my forever family. I've had some challenges in my life, but I'm ready for a loving and peaceful environment where I can feel safe and secure. I absolutely love car rides and am a great walking companion!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a calm and confident person who can help me build trust and overcome my fears. I'm good with children who are respectful of my boundaries and won't startle me, preferably older children who understand that I am a scared dog. I can be selective with other dogs and would do best with a friendly, easygoing canine companion. I am not a fan of cats.

Ongoing Health

I am spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

I am house, crate, and leash trained, and I walk beautifully on the leash. I do have some challenges with men, but I believe with patience and trust, I can overcome this. I can also be a fear snapper, so a patient and understanding approach is key. Because of my fears, I tend to guard resources, specifically food from other dogs and treats from humans. I may react if you approach me while I'm enjoying a bone.
