Bruno is a big, handsome stud muffin ready for his forever home! He and his sister, Coco, were found abandoned on the back roads of South Texas when they were just three months old. Thankfully, they've been safe in a loving foster home since then. Bruno is estimated to be born around October 2025 and currently weighs 55 lbs. He’s a medium-energy boy who enjoys playtime, especially with ropes and balls, but he also loves to cuddle up close to his people. He’s happiest when he's with his sister, Coco (also available for adoption!), and his humans. Bruno is crate-trained and very motivated by food and treats, which will be a great asset in his training!
Ideal Home
Bruno would thrive in a home that is more active than not, as he is still young and can have bursts of energy. A perfect day for him would involve swimming, playing in the pool, or just running around and having fun.
Ongoing Health
Bruno has been fixed, is current on age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and has been microchipped. He did test positive for heartworm but has completed the initial 30-day course of antibiotics and will need to remain on prevention for 12-16 months, followed by a retest. He will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to transport.
Training & Support
Bruno is an amazing dog who just needs a little patience with his training. His food motivation will be a great help!

Transportation
Bruno is currently located in South Texas but is available for transport to the Central US and East Coast. Transport runs every 2-3 weeks to the following locations:
- Albany, NY (once a month)
- Wells, VT and Brattleboro, VT
- Nashua, NH
- Willington, CT, Stamford, CT, and Dayville, CT
- Steubenville, OH, Cincinnati, OH, and Grove City, OH
- Ridgefield, NJ and Mt Laurel, NJ
- Emmitsburg, MD and Elkton, MD
- Falls Church, VA and Glenn Allen, VA
The adoption fee of $295 includes transport to these locations.
