Ginger

Ginger is a special girl with a big heart and an even bigger personality! She came to us after an accident that caused a compressed spinal disk, requiring surgery. While she healed remarkably well, she does have a unique gait with a "wonky" hind leg. But don't let that fool you – Ginger is a high-energy, funny, and incredibly smart dog who gets around just fine! She's also a bit of an escape artist, so a secure yard is a must. Ginger is crate, potty, and leash trained.

Ideal Home

Ginger would thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of attention and exercise. She's good with other dogs after a proper introduction, but she would do best in a home without cats. A securely fenced yard is essential, especially considering her tendency to explore beyond its boundaries.

Ongoing Health

Ginger underwent surgery for a compressed spinal disk. While she has recovered well, she walks with a unique gait due to the injury.

Training & Support

Ginger is already crate, potty, and leash trained. Her high energy and smarts mean she would benefit from continued engagement and activities to keep her happy and fulfilled.
