Hank

Handsome Hank is a year-old, neutered male Labrador mix with a heart of gold and a need for a special human. He's a shy guy at first, but once he bonds with his person, he's incredibly loyal and loving. Hank adores car rides, especially with his favorite person by his side. He's still learning about the world and needs a patient and understanding home.

Ideal Home

Hank would thrive in a home with older children who understand and respect a dog's boundaries, as he can be a bit spooked by young ones. He's hit or miss with other dogs, so slow and careful introductions are essential. We haven't tested him with cats yet, so that's a consideration. He's not a fan of crates and becomes quite cranky if you try to use one.

Ongoing Health

Hank is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. He's a healthy young boy.

Training & Support

While Hank usually self-corrects in public when he's being a bit grumpy, he's not crate trained and struggles with it. He walks well on a leash and is a gentleman, especially when using a prong collar. He enjoys playing with toys, especially tennis balls, but he can be a bit picky about his treats.
