Norman

Norman is a delightful 8-year-old, 42 lb Plott Hound/Heeler mix. He was born without a tail and is a neutered male. Norman absolutely loves to run and play, enjoys toys, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children of all ages. He walks well on a leash, enjoys car rides, and is both crate and house-trained.

Ideal Home

Norman is looking for an active home that will provide him with regular exercise, as he has a strong desire to run. He is known to be a bit "slippery" near the front door and may try to escape if not carefully supervised, especially if children are present. A jogging partner would be ideal, as this would likely satisfy his need for running and discourage solo adventures. While he can be an only pet if he receives plenty of attention and affection, he would likely also enjoy the company of another dog.

Training & Support

Norman is crate and house-trained and walks well on a leash. He has a tendency to slip out the door, so close supervision is recommended, especially with children around. A jogging partner or consistent opportunities for him to run would be beneficial.
