Meet Skipper!

If you're looking for a sporty and energetic dog to match your active lifestyle, then look no further than our girl Skipper! Skipper has been with us for a little over two years. She came to us with trauma to her front leg, which has since been amputated. Skipper has fully healed and her wonderful personality has blossomed beautifully.

Skipper is a lovely black and white pup, and as you can see, she's a tripod! Her favorite game is fetch, and she's always ready to entertain. Skipper can play fetch for a long time and is perfect for any baseball or softball fan. Once she's tired, though, Skipper reveals her sweet, cuddly side and loves to relax close to her people.

Ideal Home

Skipper is not good with other dogs or cats and would do best as the only pet in the home.

Ongoing Health

Skipper is a tripod due to a past injury.

Training & Support

Skipper is learning basic commands such as sit, down, and leave it. She needs more training on the leash, but is outstanding with a head halter. She responds well to commands and treats to help redirect her pulling. Skipper may need some extra time to get to know you, but some treats and a ball should do the trick. Once she warms up, she'll be your best friend!
