Bear

Bear is a 6-year-old shorty who's ready to bring endless love and adorable blanket antics into your life! This sweet 18 lb boy is likely a Bassett mix due to his adorably short stature. Bear is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and has charmed the resident kitties at his temporary sanctuary. He also adores children and is eager to shower them with affection. Bear's most endearing quirk is his deep love for blankets; he can always be found snuggled under one, dragging it from place to place as he plays, eats, and explores. He's house and crate trained, making him a well-behaved companion. Bear was surrendered when his elderly owner moved to a nursing home, and he's now looking for a new family to cherish.

Ideal Home

Bear would thrive in a home that appreciates his playful, gentle, and loving nature. An extra bonus if you have plenty of blankets to share!

Ongoing Health

Bear will be fixed, heartworm negative, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention. He will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport.

Transporation

Bear is currently located in Texas. Transport is available to the Central US and the East Coast every 2-3 weeks to locations including: Albany and Latham, NY; Wells and Brattleboro, VT; Willington, New Haven, and Dayville, CT; Port Chester, NY; Dayton and Akron, OH; Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA; Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ; White Marsh/Elkton, MD; and Falls Church, VA.
