Raya Everly is a beautiful, quiet, and emotionally gentle Husky mix, believed to be about 1 year old and weighing 48 lbs. She is a thoughtful girl who observes the world before deciding to trust, and once she does, she fits in seamlessly. Raya isn't a dog who initiates cuddles but will calmly allow them. She finds joy in routine, gentle coexistence, and the small wins, like a relaxed body or a soft glance. For Raya, love is found in peaceful companionship rather than boisterous affection.
Ideal Home
Raya would thrive in a home that appreciates her quiet and independent nature. She would be happiest with calm, respectful dogs who are content to share a home without demanding constant interaction or play. She would also do perfectly well as the only dog in the household.

Raya is a rescue dog, and as with all rescues, her exact breed and age cannot be guaranteed.
Training & Support
Raya is crate-trained and potty-trained, with excellent house manners. She loves her crate, viewing it as a safe space. She is generally mellow and low-energy, happy with a short stroll and then a nap. To gain her trust and affection, focus on quality time, ear scratches, and tasty treats, especially cheese, French fries, and popcorn. She takes treats very gently.

Transporation
Raya is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
