Meet Lottie! This 3-month-old, 12 lb Husky Mix is a curious, playful, friendly, and spunky girl who came to us all the way from Manitoba. Lottie is described by her foster family as a delightful pup who is eager to explore the world and become the best furry friend.
Lottie loves to play with her toys, explore her surroundings, and shower her humans with affectionate puppy-dog eyes. While she's not a big cuddler, she's very comfortable with independent play and enjoys puzzle toys that stimulate her clever mind. She's already mastered potty training and crate training, and is learning the ropes of home living. She's still working on her manners, especially during teething, and will need continued patience and guidance.
Ideal Home
Lottie would do well in a home with another dog who can help show her the ropes. Given her age and demeanor, we believe she would also do well with respectful, dog-savvy children. An active family with a yard or easy access to green space would be ideal, as she has the potential to grow into a larger, more furry dog. Her new family should be prepared for frequent brushing, especially during seasonal changes.
Ongoing Health
Lottie is a healthy puppy. She will require regular veterinary care as she grows.
Training & Support
Lottie is working on her house manners and learning what is and is not allowed, especially as she goes through the teething phase. She is a dream on walks and is not fearful of people or sounds. She is already potty and crate trained.
