Luna

Luna is a gentle, soulful, and petite dog with an incredibly sweet disposition. She is a quiet, grounding presence that brings peace to those around her. Luna was found on the border of Mexico alongside Sol, emaciated and terrified. It is believed that Luna is Sol's mother, and she did everything she could to protect her child even in her weakest moments. Luna arrived with an abrasion on her head, which was the result of her attempting to eat a chicken from a nearby property while starving and being struck with a shovel. When Luna came into our care, she suffered from mange, parasites, ticks, and severe malnourishment. Despite her difficult past, Luna's spirit never broke. Today, Luna has healed physically and has begun to show her true self. She has also successfully completed a professional board-and-train program, where she built confidence and stability. Luna and Sol are incredibly bonded and will be adopted out as a pair. They are soft, loving, and deeply connected dogs that will give their whole hearts to their family.
