Meet Mortimer, a mellow and lovable hound mix whose idea of a perfect day involves a cozy bed, a few snacks, and plenty of time spent with his favorite person. This sweet, sensitive boy bonds deeply with his people and becomes an incredibly devoted companion. Once you've earned his trust, you'll have a loyal shadow who would happily spend the day snuggled beside you on the couch or tucked into bed.

Mortimer has a low-energy lifestyle and is perfectly content with short walks and regular potty breaks before returning to his favorite napping spot. He has excellent house manners, does well in a crate (though he'll let you know when he first goes in), and can be trusted loose in the home. Loud, sudden household activity such as hammering or drilling can make him nervous, so he would thrive in a calm, predictable environment.
