Rafa Romano is a six-year-old Chihuahua mix who weighs about 17 pounds. He's a confident and capable little guy who knows he's not just a "little dog." Rafa has a sturdy build and a personality to match. He's happy to march alongside you and has a belief that he can conquer anything. Ideal Home

Rafa would love a family who appreciates that small dogs can have big personalities. He's looking for someone who sees him for who he is: a confident, capable little sidekick. He is not looking for someone who wants to carry him around in a purse.

Ongoing Health

Rafa is up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and has received preventative flea and heartworm treatments.

Training & Support

Rafa is house-trained and crate-trained. He is food motivated, knows "sit," and listens well. He appreciates about 30 minutes to settle in and get to know new people. Once he trusts you, he is a loyal and affectionate companion.

Rafa is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. You can track your pet's journey in real time and receive photo updates.
