Meet Heatwave, a charming 4-year-old Frenchie mix with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for adventure! She was found as a stray during a sweltering South Carolina heatwave, alongside her pal, Sauna. These two have been through a lot, arriving with skin issues likely from fleas. Heatwave also has a cherry eye that's scheduled for surgery, after which she'll be even more ready to find her forever home! Despite their past discomfort, Heatwave and Sauna are wonderfully sweet and friendly. Heatwave is a dog-friendly gal who is happy and eager to learn, especially with the motivation of tasty treats. If you're looking for a companion who enjoys a relaxed lifestyle filled with zoomies and snuggles, this low-riding cutie might be your perfect match. We've promised Heatwave the best of her life from here on out, and we hope that can be with you!

Heatwave is currently being treated for skin issues likely caused by fleas. She also has a cherry eye that will be surgically corrected soon.

Transporation

Heatwave is located in South Carolina and transport to the Northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
