Weighing in around 50 lbs and expected to reach 55-60 lbs, King is a gentle soul who brings a calm, observant energy to any home. He's friendly and happy to accept affection, but he's perfectly content sharing your space without needing constant attention. His greatest joy is his extensive toy collection, which he proudly shows off, inviting you to join in a game of tug-of-war. King is a dog who knows how to coexist peacefully, making him an ideal companion for someone who appreciates quiet companionship.
Ideal Home
King would thrive in a home with a yard where he can explore and enjoy his independence. He is not suited for apartment living at this time.
Ongoing Health
King is currently on his "gains journey" to reach a healthy weight. All vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and microchipping, is included in the adoption fee.
Training & Support
King has a good grasp of basic leash manners but will benefit from continued guidance and consistency, especially when he sees something that interests him. His medium to low energy level means he enjoys playtime and exploration but is also happy to settle into a relaxed groove.

Transportation is available nationwide via a USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. A transportation surcharge of $87 applies. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
