Cindy

Cindy is a lovely 1.5-year-old Akita/Cattle Dog mix weighing in at 44 lbs. She's a sweet soul who was found scared and alone after an attack by other dogs. Despite her past, Cindy is sociable and adores people, soaking up all the attention she can get. She gets along well with other dogs, doesn't exhibit food possessiveness, and is learning to walk on a leash.

Ideal Home

Cindy would thrive in a home where she won't be left alone for long periods. She loves to play and explore, so an active family that enjoys taking her on walks and adventures would be perfect for her.

Ongoing Health

Cindy is up-to-date on all vaccinations, spayed, and tested negative for heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma. She is currently on SimparicaTRIO for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention and has undergone deworming treatments. She recently had a dental cleaning.

Training & Support

Cindy is working on becoming 100% housebroken and is still being desensitized to leash walking. She will need patience and consistency to adjust to a new routine, especially regarding potty training and leash manners.

Transportation

Cindy is currently in Guadalajara, Mexico, and can be transported to Portland, Oregon, once an adopter is approved. Please note that transport arrangements can take 2-4 weeks due to required customs paperwork.
