Volt is a lively, people-loving mixed-breed dog who enjoys meeting people, playing with toys, and joining in the fun. Found as a stray, he is ready to bring energy and excitement to his next chapter.

Ideal Home

Volt would thrive with an active family who can provide daily walks, playtime, adventures, food puzzles, long-lasting chews, and engaging training games. He would do best in a home without children under 5; older children comfortable around energetic dogs may be a better fit with adult guidance.

Volt showed no response to other dogs while walking at ACC, but his history with other animals is unknown. Introductions to resident pets should be slow and thoughtful.

Training & Support

Volt is social and playful, but he may jump up when greeting people and pull hard on leash. He responds well to redirection during toy play and will benefit from patient, positive-reinforcement training and plenty of outlets for his energy.
