Annie

Annie is the best girl for her foster Mom! She goes to work with her, is a seasoned pro at traveling, walks on a loose leash, and does her business in a flash. She even has her own pair of Crocs for hot pavement! Annie is fine with cats but prefers to be an only dog; she will coexist with them but they will not be friends.

Annie was sadly dumped by her owner, but through patience and love in her foster home, she has learned to trust again. She is a low-key dog who wants a low-key life.

Ideal Home

Annie needs a low-energy home where she can go for walks and be the only dog. She will NOT be placed in a home with young children, and multiple children will make her extremely uncomfortable. She should be fine with a visiting grandchild who is dog-savvy and will respect Annie's space.

Ongoing Health

Annie may likely still need to be muzzled for vet visits, but her foster family does not label her a biter as these incidents happened when she was in crisis. The vet suggested some friendly visits to acclimate her to being touched by medical professionals.

Training & Support

Annie needs a basic group obedience class with her adopter to bond and trust her new human.
