Meet Queenie, a three-year-old Retriever mix who is all about living life to the fullest with a spirit that's as adventurous as it is endearing! At 55 lbs, Queenie may have lost sight in one eye, but this girl is a blend of energy, charm, and just the right amount of sass. She loves her walks but might stop mid-stroll for a quick rest – because, well, she’s Queenie! Playtime for her isn’t about chasing toys; she’s more into wrestling with her canine pals and soaking up your affection. While she can be a little timid when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for her to warm up and roll over for those essential belly rubs. And yes, she has a stubborn streak when it’s time to leash up, but that’s just part of her unique charm!

Ideal Home

Queenie would thrive in a home with a big yard to explore and would be a perfect companion for someone with an active lifestyle, such as hiking or running. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended to ensure the best fit. She can be prone to digging or finding her way out of containment if her curiosity gets the best of her, though she isn't one to run off.

While Queenie enjoys playtime and affection, she can be a little timid with new people and has a stubborn streak when it comes to leashing up. She is not toy-obsessed.
