Sugar (bonded with Spice)

Meet Sugar and Spice, the ultimate summer package deal! These two sweethearts are a bonded pair of 9-year-old Labs who are absolutely inseparable. Sugar, a 50 lb yellow Lab, is the gentle and sweet one. She's blind, but that doesn't slow her down one bit – she expertly follows her best friend, Spice, to find the best nap spots and snacks. Sugar is a professional cuddler and loves nothing more than a good belly rub and a sunny patch of grass. Spice, a 75 lb chocolate Lab, is the outgoing adventurer of the duo! She's always ready for a game of fetch, a splash in the kiddie pool, or a car ride. Spice is Sugar's rock and personal GPS, making sure her best friend is always safe and sound. While she loves to play, Spice is also a serious snuggler. Together, they make the perfect pair, offering double the love and twice the fun!

Ideal Home

Sugar and Spice would love a home with plenty of sunshine, snacks, and a couch big enough for two. They are great with other dogs and older children (10+). Their energy levels are low to medium, making them perfect companions for a relaxed household.

Ongoing Health

Both Sugar and Spice are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and fully vetted. All necessary medical care has been provided, including age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm testing and treatment, deworming, and preventative care.

Training & Support

Sugar and Spice are house-trained and crate-trained. They are also excellent car passengers and enjoy car rides. They are happy to supervise snack time and enjoy bones and Kongs.

• MPM Rescue reviews applications and checks vet records and references.
• MPM foster contacts approved applicants to arrange a home check and meeting.
• If it's a good fit, adoption is completed with a contract and fees.

Transporation

Sugar and Spice are currently in foster homes. Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue does not have a shelter where dogs are available for daily viewing. Transportation arrangements can be made once an application is approved and a meet-and-greet is scheduled.
