Toaster

Toaster is a 2.5-year-old bundle of joy with a slightly wobbly gait, a remnant of a past spinal injury. Despite his unique way of moving, his enthusiasm for life is infectious, and he's gained strength and coordination during his time in our care. He can even navigate short staircases with surprising confidence! Toaster is still learning some social cues, like not putting his mouth on humans, but he's never aggressive, just very enthusiastic. He's heartworm negative and has no other major health concerns, just a charmingly unconventional movement style that he seems perfectly happy with. While his movements can be startling to other dogs, he does seem to enjoy canine company. Due to his unique gait, he would do best in a home with older children who can safely interact with him. Toaster is a clean boy and we have high hopes for his housetraining success. He's also surprisingly mellow on leash, which is a great bonus! His stunning markings and zest for life make him a truly special companion for the right person who will embrace his one-of-a-kind charm.
