Meet Abby! This sweet 4-year-old Staffordshire Terrier/American Bully mix weighs 64lbs and is as gentle as her name suggests. She's spayed, fully vaccinated, and up-to-date on her monthly preventatives, making her ready to find her forever family. Abby has a calm, gentle soul with a playful spirit. She enjoys the company of other dogs, greeting them with a happy wag and a smile, and is adept at reading their body language. While she can be a little possessive at times, she's generally respectful and easygoing, making her a great candidate to be an only dog or to join a well-matched canine companion. She still enjoys a good case of the zoomies, reminding everyone of her playful side!
Ideal Home
Abby would do well in a home with older, dog-savvy children (10+), as we don't have a history of her with cats or young children. She is described as "practically perfect" and would love a family that appreciates her calm and loving nature.
Ongoing Health
Abby is spayed, fully vaccinated, and up-to-date on all monthly preventatives. Thunderstorms can be a bit scary for her, and she will seek out a quiet, safe space until they pass.
Training & Support
Abby is fully potty trained, crate trained, and willingly goes into her crate to sleep each night. She settles beautifully when crated and left alone. She has not shown any signs of resource guarding or food aggression. She enjoys leisurely walks and handles stairs well. While she tolerates car rides, they are not her favorite activity.
