Duke

Duke is a beautiful, friendly, loving boy in search of his forever family! Duke is estimated to be 4 years old, weighs around 65lbs, and is a Lab/Pitbull mix. Poor Duke, along with his sister, were abandoned in an apartment building, where he was covered in feces and urine and was terrified. He spent time at an overcrowded Atlanta shelter where he was incredibly stressed. A wonderful foster stepped up for Duke, and he's now flourishing in his foster home! This sweet guy has a wonderful personality - he is fun-loving, happy, and affectionate! He has a medium energy level and enjoys hanging outside in his fenced yard, playing with his foster siblings, or just being by your side getting all the pets! Duke likes everyone he meets and has done well with kids and the senior female dogs in his foster home.

Ideal Home

Duke would do well in a house with or without other dogs. Although he'd love a fenced yard, this is not a requirement.

Ongoing Health

Duke is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Duke is a certified good boy! He's potty trained, crate trained (8hr), and knows his basic commands. He listens to his foster mom very well and is also gentle when taking treats.

Transporation

BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA, and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2 hours of the Roswell area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.
