Pluto is a super sweet boy who's estimated to be between 1-2 years old and weighs about 45 lbs. He's got plenty of puppy energy and loves to play, run around, and go for walks, which are his absolute favorite! He also discovered he loves playing in the water and had a blast camping. Pluto is a people-pleaser who gravitates towards everyone he meets. He has a unique look that's a little merle, a little brindle, and 100% adorable. We think he might be a hound mix, but whatever his heritage, he's sure to be a healthy and loving companion.
Ideal Home
Pluto enjoys playing with other dogs and has been good with all he's met. He has shown a slight chase instinct with the resident cats in his foster home, but he stops when corrected and isn't rough. With continued training, he could likely do well in a home with cats.
Ongoing Health
Pluto is scheduled for his neuter surgery next week. He has been wearing a belly band due to occasional marking, which is expected to resolve after his surgery. His adoption fee includes all vetting to age, including deworming and flea/tick treatment.
Training & Support
Pluto is working on housetraining and, like any rescue, will need an adjustment period in a new home. It's also highly recommended to implement a 2-week shutdown and decompression period for him. We offer a $60 rebate for the completion of positive-based training classes and lifetime support from our rescue.

Pluto is located in Rochester, NY. We adopt within a several-hour radius of Rochester, NY, and can accommodate adopters in Canada (puppies must be old enough for their rabies vaccination to cross the border, usually around 16 weeks).
