Duncan

Duncan is the sweetest little boy, approximately 1 year old and weighing 19 lbs. He has a typical multiple breed mix, with a lot of Chihuahua in his DNA! Duncan loves to play with his squeaky toys, enjoys lots of petting and attention, and gets along well with other dogs. He's a quiet, well-behaved pup who seems pretty house-trained and does pretty well on a leash, though he could use a little more training.

Ideal Home

We do not adopt to anyone with children under the age of 8 years.

Ongoing Health

Duncan tested positive for heartworms when he was rescued and has been treated according to The American Heartworm Society protocols. We typically find that dogs test negative for heartworms in 4 to 6 months. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (including Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza), and are on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas/ticks, and parasites.

Training & Support

Duncan is generally well-behaved and doing well with house training and leash walking, but could benefit from a little additional training.
