Percy

I’m Percy! I'm a little over a year old and weigh 64 pounds. I’ve been with Love Mutts Rescue since I was 8 weeks old, so I fortunately only know love and snuggles, which I absolutely love to do! I’m up to date on all of my vaccines, neutered, and Heartworm negative. I was so good at the vet, and everyone fell in love with me! I’m an American Staffy mix with Border Collie. I am very athletic and love to swim to cool off after chasing and playing with my foster sisters and brothers. I’m house and crate trained and walk well on my harness.

Ideal Home

I enjoy long walks, sunshine, balls, and toys. I’d be best in a home with older kids, as I think I’m a lapdog and might accidentally knock over a toddler. My prey drive is high, so I’d be best in a home with no cats.

Ongoing Health

I am up to date on all of my vaccines, neutered, and Heartworm negative.

Training & Support

I do need structure in my life because I can get protective of my food, so I don’t mind eating in my crate where I feel comfortable. I’m not a picky eater and I’ll try anything! I love berries, bananas, bread…you name it, I’ll try it! I get along with dogs when I’m properly introduced and learn my boundaries quickly. I would also be okay as an only dog so I can get all of the love and attention.

Transportation

Percy is available for our adult dogs 2-week foster-to-adopt program. He is located at Love Mutts Rescue.
