Miss Lucy

Miss Lucy is a beautiful, large adult female Great Pyrenees with a heartbreaking past. She endured immense hardship, including a prong collar embedded in her neck and constant tethering outdoors. Her best friend, another dog, was tragically killed by a car. In her grief and confusion, Lucy broke free and got into altercations with other dogs. Facing euthanasia and a surrendered by her owner, she was brought to rescue.

After being spayed, Lucy moved to an "only dog" foster home in Nevada to begin her healing journey. She previously lived with a very chill foster brother, but at times made it clear she might appreciate having more space to herself. We're letting her settle in to see if this calmer, more solitary environment is what she prefers.

Ideal Home

Lucy may prefer a home where she can have more personal space.

Lucy has been spayed and vaccinated.
