Panda is a shy but sweet boy who is estimated to be around two years old and weighs about 50 pounds. We believe he's a Pittie mix, but as he's a rescue, this is our best guess! He's been lovingly named Panda for his black and white coat and his mellow personality. Panda enjoys the simple pleasures in life, like his toys, chew bones, and daily walks. He thrives on routine and structure, making him a predictable and loving companion. Panda is looking for a home that can offer him patience and understanding as he continues to blossom. He bonds deeply with his people, especially through shared walks, and is a professional when it comes to car rides, settling in calmly in the backseat. At night, he loves to snuggle up with his humans or relax on the couch. He is also kennel-trained and house-trained.
Ideal Home
Panda would thrive in a quiet, serene suburban or rural home. He does best in a home with another dog, as he draws a lot of confidence from canine companions. He is not recommended for a home with cats.
Ongoing Health
Panda has no known health conditions. His adoption fee includes all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and a microchip.
Training & Support
Panda is house-trained and kennel-trained. He is great on leash and enjoys tandem walks. He will require a patient adopter who will allow him a full decompression period. Our behavior team and his foster mom are available to offer guidance and support.
