PIPER

Piper is a 6-year-old, 60-pound German Shepherd who is past the puppy stage and ready for the best years of her life! She's the perfect mix of playful, loyal, and loving – happy to chase a ball in the yard and then snuggle up close to her people. Piper was heartbreakingly abandoned but still believes in love and greets each day with hope. She's fully vaccinated, house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and does well with children. While she might be a little shy and try to look tough when meeting new people, she's a gentle soul who just wants to feel safe and loved again. Her favorite things are playing fetch, her gingerbread toy, and spending time with her humans. She just needs a soft bed, a few toys, and a family who will never leave her behind.

Piper would do best as an only dog or with a dog her size or larger.
