Sherpa Throw

Sherpa is a handsome 2-3 year old, 80lb Labrador Retriever mix with a heart of gold! He was found in rough shape, but after extensive medical care and treatment, he has made a full recovery and his playful personality is shining through. Sherpa is an intelligent and diligent dog with an independent spirit, making him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a canine partner. While he's friendly with people and gets along with other dogs of similar size, he can sometimes be more focused on exploring his surroundings or tackling a task. He's a sweet boy who genuinely wants to please, and with a little more guidance, he's sure to mature into an even more polished companion.

Sherpa would thrive in a home that understands his working dog nature and can provide him with engaging activities. He enjoys the company of people and similar-sized dogs.

Ongoing Health

Sherpa has fully recovered from his past medical issues, including heartworms. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been spayed/neutered.

Training & Support

Sherpa is currently enrolled in training and is excelling in scent work and improving his communication skills. To ensure a smooth transition, his adopter will receive access to 8 FREE private training sessions with Instinct Dog Behavior and Training.
