Arya

Meet Arya! This sweet girl is approximately 2-3 years old and weighs around 35lbs. Arya has overcome a very difficult start in life, arriving at a shelter with a chain embedded in her neck. Thankfully, she was rescued, her wounds have healed beautifully, and she's now blossoming! Arya is incredibly loyal and affectionate, soaking up all the love she can get. She's a smart cookie and highly food-motivated, which has made her training a joy. Arya knows how to sit, give a paw, and walk nicely on a loose leash. She's proven to be a quick learner with great potential for further training with her forever person.

Ideal Home

Arya would thrive in a home where she can be the only pet, as she is still working on her training and needs gradual exposure to new things. Due to some excitable energy, a home with older children or no children would be best.

Ongoing Health

Arya is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Arya is reactive to dogs and bicycles. She has been responding very well to gradual exposure with rewards and consistent training. Continued patient training and positive reinforcement will help her continue to build confidence.
