Meet Toby! He's a one-year-old pup who is the ultimate blend of outdoor adventurer and world-class snuggler. His perfect day involves playing with his doggy friends at daycare, splashing in the hose or sprinkler, and running around a fenced-in yard with a basket full of toys to choose from. This smart, well-mannered boy is completely house-trained and trustworthy with free roam of the home for up to 6-7 hours. No crate is needed for Toby, as he prefers to spend his alone time napping on a blanketed couch or tracking down a warm sunbeam to lounge in. He is fantastic with other dogs, gentle with kids, takes treats softly, and already knows commands like "sit," "paw," "high-five," and "hug." He also walks well on a leash. Toby is a true shadow who loves to nudge his way close to his people for a good cuddle session during TV time, but he also has an independent streak and will happily sleep the night away in a spare bedroom or downstairs on the couch. He is a polite roommate with a built-in routine, meaning he is usually ready for bed by 9:00 PM and is more than happy to sleep in late on mornings when you do. While he can get a little nervous on car rides because he wants to be sure he isn't being uprooted again, he is completely ready to pack up his toys for his forever family.
