=== FORMAT === My name is Scarlett, and I'm a 6-year-old pit bull terrier mix who is as sweet and precious as can be! I was rescued after wandering onto a farm, emaciated and with skin and ear issues. Thankfully, wonderful people stepped in to help me recover. While I'm on the road to health, I've discovered I'm heartworm positive, which means the next few months will be dedicated to treatment. My foster family is taking excellent care of me, and I'm eager to find my forever home where I'll never have to worry about my next meal or a safe place to sleep again. I absolutely adore being around other dogs, and cuddling is my love language! I promise to shower you with all the love and affection you can handle in return for the safety, security, and love I crave.

Ideal Home

I would thrive in a home that can spoil me endlessly with love and affection! A fenced-in yard is preferred, and I would especially love to have another doggy sibling to play with. I am great with kids, particularly older ones.

Ongoing Health

I am currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, which is expected to continue until about June. All HSWA dogs are up-to-date on vet care, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and current on flea and tick preventatives.

Training & Support

I love being around other dogs and cuddling! I'm looking for a home that can provide me with the safety and security I deserve.
