Kovu Lau is a 3-month-old Australian Shepherd and Golden Retriever mix with a heart full of love and a brain full of smarts! He was adopted at 6 weeks old and spent a happy 5 weeks with his first family, where he began his training and learned to sit. Kovu's exuberant puppy energy was a bit much for the young children in his previous home, so they made the tough decision to find him a new opportunity. Now, Kovu is ready for his second chance and a forever home where he can truly shine. He's an adorable, clever boy who is eager to continue learning and will thrive with someone who can provide him with further training, fulfilling his Aussie need for a "job" to channel his energy and intelligence.
Ideal Home
Kovu would do best in a home that can provide him with consistent training and engaging activities to keep his smart mind and energetic body occupied. Homes with young children may not be the best fit due to his exuberance.

Kovu is neutered and vaccinated.
Training & Support
Kovu already knows the "sit" command! He will benefit from continued training to help him channel his energy and intelligence, which is characteristic of his Aussie heritage.
