Stitch

This resilient girl was abandoned on a mountain and had to learn to survive all on her own. She found refuge in a hiker's shelter and would occasionally get scraps from those passing by, but it was never enough. Thankfully, a kind thru-hiker found Stitch and fashioned a sling out of his rain jacket to carry her to safety. Now, Stitch is recovering well, gaining weight, and showing how smart and resilient she truly is. She is gentle when taking treats and is quickly learning leash manners and basic commands. Stitch is discovering the joys of regular meals, a soft bed, and loving attention. Once fully recovered, she will make a wonderful, active companion for a person or family who enjoys jogging or hiking.
