Greta

Greta is a happy-go-lucky girl who absolutely loves people! She's silly, funny, sweet, and such a good girl, always ready to bring joy to her new family. Estimated to be around 2 years old and weighing less than 45 pounds, Greta is fully vetted and eager to find her forever home.

Ideal Home

Greta would do well with a playful and non-dominant dog friend, preferably one her size or larger. Since she can resource guard food and toys (only from other dogs, never from people), it's recommended that she is fed and given toys separately, not when she is out or playing with other dogs.

Greta is fully vetted.

Training & Support

Greta is currently working on several commands, including 'sit', 'down', 'place', 'stay', 'touch', 'leave it', and loose-leash walking. She is making great progress in her training!

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Our out-of-state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (which varies by location). This fee includes all age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.
• Please be aware that our animal adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care.

Transporation

Our dogs are fostered in Texas but are available for adoption and transport out of state. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. The adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call.
