Ideal Home

Sandy thrives in a home with at least one other dog, as canine companionship helps build her confidence. A secure, fenced yard is a must for her to safely explore and settle in. She would do best in a home with older, respectful children who can give her the space she needs to feel secure, as sudden movements can startle her.

Ongoing Health

Sandy is fully vetted, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection.

Training & Support

Sandy is fully crate trained and 100% potty trained. She walks beautifully on a leash, remaining non-reactive to distractions, and enjoys short car rides. While not highly treat-motivated, she can’t resist Colby Jack cheese! She rarely barks and enjoys quiet affection on her own terms, like chin scratches and chest massages. She needs a patient family to help her continue building confidence as she adjusts to new surroundings.
