Ozzie

Ozzie is a sweet, one-year-old spayed female Pittie mix who came to us from a high-risk animal control facility down south, along with her sister, Oona. Initially, Ozzie was quite shut down and nervous, but after a few days in a foster home, she began to come out of her shell. She really blossomed when reunited with her sister, gaining confidence with Oona by her side. We believe she will truly thrive in a home that also has another dog to help her continue to build her confidence. Ozzie is friendly with dogs, cats, and all people. While she can be a little nervous, she is a kind and gentle soul. She'll need a patient and calm adopter who will allow her to open up at her own pace. Ozzie and Oona aren't a bonded pair, but they get along very well and would love for their potential adopters to arrange playdates so they can continue to see each other.

Ideal Home

Ozzie would do best in a home with another dog to help her build confidence. She needs a patient and calm adopter who will allow her to adjust to her new surroundings slowly.

Ozzie is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Ozzie is friendly with dogs, cats, and people, but can be a bit nervous. Patience and a calm environment will help her feel secure and flourish.
