Meet Moonpie, the tiny grandpa with a big personality! This spunky senior is proof that good things come in small, slightly opinionated packages. Moonpie has been living the foster life with both dogs and cats, and for the most part, everyone gets along great. His only rule? Respect the snacks. Moonpie firmly believes his food and prized possessions are his, thank you very much. He's perfectly happy as your one-and-only pet, but he can also live with other respectful furry roommates who understand the importance of personal space and separate dinner reservations.

Ideal Home

Moonpie is looking for a family that appreciates a dog with character, respects his boundaries, and doesn't mind carrying 10-ish pounds of adorable every now and then.

Ongoing Health

Moonpie has what his foster mom lovingly calls his "bum knee" (the fancy veterinary term is a luxating patella). It doesn't slow him down from enjoying the important things in life like neighborhood strolls, supervising the yard, and soaking up the sunshine. He just appreciates the occasional chauffeured ride when his little legs decide they've clocked out for the day.

Training & Support

Like many distinguished seniors, Moonpie values his beauty sleep. If you bother him when he's tired and tucked in for the night, he may voice his opinion. But come morning, he's back to being his charming, lovable self, ready to greet the day.
