Hector is a handsome boy who was found wandering the streets of the Houston area as a young puppy. He was alone and without a safe place to sleep, but thankfully, a local shelter rescued him. Now, a wonderful foster family is showering him with love while he waits for his forever home. Hector is a wonderful companion who loves to be involved in family life and is eager to learn. Standard Schnauzers are known for being intelligent, loyal, and devoted to their people. They form strong bonds and enjoy being part of daily activities. They are playful, athletic, and can be a good choice for those looking for a more hypoallergenic dog.
Ideal Home
Hector would do best in a home that enjoys spending time together and is excited to help him continue building confidence and good manners. His ideal family will include him in everyday life, provide daily walks and playtime, enjoy training and teaching him new things, and give him plenty of love, structure, and attention. He's looking for a family to welcome a fun, affectionate puppy who will grow into a loyal lifelong companion.

Training & Support
Hector is house trained and kennel trained. He also walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. As a puppy, he has lots of growing and learning ahead of him, and his ideal family will be excited to continue his training.
