Alvin

Meet Alvin, a handsome large mixed-breed Coonhound and Pit Bull Terrier with a gentle heart. He may take a little time to build trust, but once he knows you, his affectionate side shines through. Alvin is sweet, calm, loyal, easy to walk, and happiest spending quiet one-on-one time with his person.

He enjoys leisurely walks, sniffing adventures, cuddles, ear rubs, attention, and earning treats. He often prefers relaxing beside his favorite person over toys or play.

Ideal Home

Alvin is looking for an adult-only home where he can be the only pet. He forms strong bonds with trusted people and will thrive with someone who can give him time to build confidence.

Training & Support

Alvin was reported to be house-trained, slept comfortably in a kennel through the night, and had excellent manners in the home. He walks nicely on leash, knows “sit,” and sometimes responds to “leave it.”
