Keri is a sweet, well-mannered girl who originally came to us from Kuwait in 2019. She had a tough start but was rescued and eventually made her way to us. Keri was adopted in 2020 but sadly lost her home through no fault of her own. She is a very lazy lady who needs a bit of encouragement to get moving. Keri is significantly overweight, partly due to a thyroid condition, but mostly from being overfed and under-exercised. She generally gets along with dogs her own size but isn't fond of yappy small dogs, and she's not a fan of cats. Keri is looking for a moderately lazy owner who will ensure she gets a couple of walks a day and isn't overfed. She knows many commands and is incredibly well-mannered. Her ideal weight is in the mid-40-pound range, but she's currently about 25% over that. Keri truly desires a devoted owner to be her whole world. If you're a bit of a homebody who prefers quiet companionship, Keri is your girl! She’s loyal and loving to her chosen person, tolerating others only if they don't bother her.
Ideal Home
Keri would thrive in a home with a moderately lazy owner who can commit to daily walks and responsible feeding. She would prefer to be the only pet in the household.
Ongoing Health
Keri has a thyroid condition that contributes to her weight.
Training & Support
Keri is exceedingly well-mannered and knows many commands. Her primary need is for her owner to manage her diet and exercise to help her reach a healthy weight.
