Meet Pettigrew's Border Collies. Sylvia Pettigrew is from New Hampshire and breeds Border Collies. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual. I have been working with dogs for 20+ years now and owned my first border collie 16 years ago and fell head over heels for the breed! I was a groomer for 16 years and now own my own kennel where we offer Daycare Boarding and Grooming. I have done agility, herding, CGC, trick, scent work, therapy, dock diving, show handling, and rally with my dogs. I had my first litter last year and it was a wonderful experience!! I raise the pups in my home under foot where they are exposed to kids and other dogs, cats, and livestock. They are handled daily and showered with love. Also, I run mowers and wheeler's and other loud noises as well. I take them for car rides and we start on potty training. I feed all of my dogs and pups raw. when pups are under my care they will have a name and get nothing but the best!!
